Most of the excavations so far have been in the southern half of the Fort
and have included the Commanding Officer's House, the Headquarters Building
and the usual granaries. What is believed to be a Christian Church has also
been found with a semi-circular apse at the western end. At the northern end
of the Fort, some other semi-circular buildings have been found jutting out on
the inside of the walls. No-one is sure what these were used for - yet. The
North West quadrant is currently under investigation.
