Most of the best wall paintings are now protected in the Museo Nationale, many of the remaining images are fading in the weather and pollution. This is a very small sample of the painted walls and mosaic floors that I particularly enjoyed.
My favourite is the wall painting in the Thermopolium of Asellina, advertising the wares of his bar.
