Stained Glass Stained Glass The Anglo Saxon Window   The Crypt Window

Much of the original stained glass was broken during the Civil War and most now dates from the 18th Century onwards. Some of the 19th and 20th Century windows are stunning. The oldest is a small panel of Mary feeding the baby Jesus from Anglo Saxon times. The newest is by Stanley Murray Scott and dates from 1971. The shape of the altar window in the Crypt is also unusual.
