Rome is a very interesting city and probably takes at least a week to investigate properly. I was only in Rome for 2 days but enjoyed just walking down the street and finding Roman artifacts built into the fabric of the modern city. It's unusual to find so many years of history surviving side by side on the streets.
I did find time to visit the Colosseum, Saint Peter's Basilica, the Forum, the Pantheon and the Castel Sant' Angelo and some of the photographs are shown in these few pages.
