Up on the Moors
|
The North York Moors National Park is one of the finest landscapes in Britain.
I may be biased but I was born in Yorkshire so it is allowed!
It has miles of brooding heather, towering sea cliffs, secluded beaches, grassy dales
and picturesque villages and includes the coastal ports of Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay
as well as the moors. It has a character all of its own. The Ryedale Folk Museum
captures some of history of the buildings found in the park.
