Cupid on a dolphin mosaic

This is the finest of the Fishbourne mosaics and is the second mosaic to be laid in this room (there was another underneath which has been moved elsewhere in the museum).
The mosaic shows a cupid riding a dolphin supported on four sides by semi-circular panels of sea panthers and sea horses. This was probably the main dining room of the palace towards the end of its life.
