Some of the ancestral halls hidden in the villages in Kowloon are still
in use today. Several of the old walled villages and mansions are kept as
museums.
Tai Fu Tai Mansion was built by Man Chung-leun in 1865 and is now restored and
open to the public.
Liu Man Shek Tong is the main ancestral hall of the Liu clan and
contains the altars on which rows of soul tablets commemorate the ancestors
of the clan.
Man Lun Fung was built in the middle of the 17th Century and contains some
beautiful ceramic tiles on the roofbeams.
